Drilling holes with a diameter of just a few millimeters and depths more than 40 times their diameter is precision work at the limit of what is possible. We explain what is important.

Deep hole drilling is one of the most demanding machining processes in metal technology. When deep holes reach up to 600 times their diameter, absolute straightness is crucial; deviations of just a few hundredths of a millimeter can determine success or rejection.

Our single-flute deep hole drilling shafts are manufactured in the diameter range from 2.8 mm to 11.6 mm. They are aligned so precisely that they do not need to be reworked before the drill head is soldered on.

The challenge lies not only in the straightness but also in the combination of mechanical and thermal processing that creates the ideal drill shaft from the right raw material.

This is how we create precision that is valued worldwide, from renowned tool manufacturers in Germany to industrial partners all over the world.
